Sara what are you blogging

Sara what are you blogging

If I look at the different blogs and believe me I do that quite often I must say my blog is a little bit chaotic. But a blog should be like the person shouldn’t it? That’s why I want to present all the different topics that are on my mind and what I want to show you. This is sometimes very personal sometimes just a random thing. Until now I am blogging for about 4 months and I like it. I am trying to edit one post a week at least. But I know to be more successful I have to invest more time!

The reason why I started blogging is I am a huge technic fan and like to read post from other people. I think I have some interesting things to tell you so that’s why I started it. Another thing I want to start is doing videos. Like vlogs, tutorials, cooking videos and so on. I started with it already but as I watched it again I deleted it… It was too bad for my opinion. I know many of other youtubers started with a bad camera and bad light bud I don’t like to watch this videos that’s why I have to save my money for videos, video programs, lighting and so on. But I will definitely start this year with this project! (New year’s resolution haha)

I hope you like the way I write. It’s not perfect I’m not perfect ether. I would do a HARLEM SHAKE if you follow my blog or leave me a comment that would make my day!

Lots of Love Saralicious.

A Romantic night out?

I was very excited to visit another great place from Switzerland. We went to Säntis a huge mountain in Appenzell for an evening event. The event is called full moon dinner, because the mountain is so high you can see the moon even clearer and closer than ever and you have a dinner at the restaurant. Unfortunately it was very cloudy that the view was so bad we didn’t even see the moon at all. But that was just bad luck.

The cost for this are quite high. Two tickets incl. dinner were CHF 165.- (almost the same in dollar). This includes the transportation from the base station to the gipfel and the dinner.
Hmmm… The journey it selve started not god. At the station they told us that our reservation is canceled… But we haven’t cancelled it so it must be a missounderstanding. At the top we had the same discussion again. Very unorganized that’s not typical for Switerland. But finally we were sitted.
The Dinner it selfe was nothing special at all. You had a buffed for salad, main courses and dessert. Everythin self service. I’m not a massiv fan of buffed and this one was no mind changer. The quality of the food was ok but almost everything was very unhealthy and nothing special at all. That’s apitty you could do so much more with a location like this.
Locationwise how can I say it in a nice way… you feel back in the 80’s. I think if you would change just little thinks like having special decoration (and not a lamminiertes papier with sentences on it) and probably somebody who tells you more about full moon and the special thing about it the event would be super cool. Now it’s just ok but you don’t want to go again. The waitress there were also very unfriendly. You had to stop somebody if you wanted to order some drinks. Hellooo???? All in all I was not feeling welcome at all and just like a Massenabfertigung…

I’m sorry to say so many bad things about this evening but we were so excited and now it’s just like a waste of time and money…

The säntis is a very nice place to visite. Go at a day time when the weather is nice and eat before you go up.

Pancakes Day is better than Valentine's Day

Hey Everyone
I've never understood the meaning of Valentine's Day. I mean you think of the person you love anyhow and want to make him happy? Do you really need a fixed day for it? I don’t think so! In my opinion it’s just for the money! Because of this fact I was very surprised that almost everybody asks my want we have planned for today. My answer: I don’t celebrate Valentine's Day only Pancakes day! I love confused people.

Why?? My friend and I were single and not happy with it. Especially in winter when it’s cold outside you want to spend your time with someone special! The Valentine's Day has never been something special for me but this time my mood gets even worse. My friend saved me! How? Quite simple: She just liked this Facebook page: Fuck Valentine’s day on the 14th it's pancakes day on the 16th! Awesome!!!

A few months later I met my boyfriend. As Valentine's Day approached I told him about the experience. He liked this idea and we decided to eat pancakes for breakfast on pancakes day. I think it's a nice tradition! It is something that belongs only to us and the others could buy roses…

Dear Shannon,
That is shocking news.
Although I have two clients expecting completed work this afternoon, I will, of course, drop everything and do whatever it takes to facilitate the speedy return of Missy.

Regards, David.

It's a design thing. The cat is lost in the negative space.

Dear Shannon,

Having worked with designers for a few years now, I would have assumed you understood, despite our vague suggestions otherwise, we do not welcome constructive criticism. I don't come downstairs and tell you how to send text messages, log onto Facebook and look out of the window. I have amended and attached the poster as per your instructions.
Regards, David.

yeah can you do the poster or not? I just want a photo and the word lost and the telephone number and when and where she was lost and her name. Not like a movie poster or anything stupid. I have to leave early today. If it was your cat I would help you. Thanks.

Dear Shannon,

I don't have a cat. I once agreed to look after a friend's cat for a week but after he dropped it off at my apartment and explained the concept of kitty litter. I have attached the amended version of your poster as per your detailed instructions.

I know, but that one is cute. As Missy has quite possibly met any one of several violent ends, it is possible you might get a better cat out of this. If anybody calls and says "I haven't seen your orange cat but I did find a black and white one with its hind legs run over by a car, do you want it?" you can politely decline and save yourself a costly veterinarian bill.

Regards, David.

Blind Cow in Zurich

Who has not played the game when he was little? A cloth tied around so that you re not able to see nothing and then walking around guided by a friend. How it is to be blind? Once I did not see I was totally awkward and clumsy. So what I wanted to experience again and I have it!

Months ago, I booked a table at the Blind Cow in Zurich, a restaurant in which we are led by blind or visually impaired people to his table because the room has no light. Wow sounds exciting, and that's it. The reception area is illuminated that you can choose the menu. I noticed my menu because is ordered in the dark. Bags, mobile phones and watches were locked in that the room is completely dark.

Before the black curtain opened we waited nervously for our waitress Elizabeth. When she came to pick us up we arrived in a dark room and then we went in goose step into the restaurant. It was completely dark! You can’t see anything at all. Elisabeth led us to our table and reliably recorded the order. We sat there listened to the chatter in the restaurant. It seemed a lot louder than usual in a restaurants but I think that's because you are otherwise able to focus better, so we were delivered almost helpless to the noise. As our drinks arrived I was thinking: don’t splash it all over you face Sara!

The next challenge came immediately with the starters. Oh god how many times I had an empty fork in my mouth. And as no one could see what you are doing I have nimble fingers scanned the plates to see if there is some hidden salad otherwise had no chance. The main course smelled sooo tempting but cut meat without seeing anything? Challenge accepted!  Clever as I am now time * cough * I just speared the whole piece of meat and eat it slowly. It was absolutely Yum!

Fazid:
Blind people can’t see in the dark even if it seems like that

Prepare topics for your conversation

Styling isn’t important, nobody can see you!

Trust your waitress, she knows it best

At this point I would like to thank Elizabeth for the great evening.  She has probably the sweetest voice I've heard in a while!

Masoala Rainforest in Zurich

THE MASOALA RAINFOREST AT ZURICH ZOO
Over the holidays, I took the time and went to the Masoala rainforest at the Zurich Zoo. It is a real rainforest in our cold country Switzerland. You can discover tropical plants and animals. Although I visited this place already many years ago I was still amazed of how beautiful it is. It is suitable as a visit with children as well as a couple. For those who do not know about the rain forest here are some information:

The Masoala Rainforest is the centrepiece of the zoo’s nature conservation strategy. In the Masoala Rainforest, you can find out about why the forests are disappearing as well as learn about projects with the aim of conserving the forests. The Masoala Rainforest at the zoo attracts donations providing one third of long-term funding needed to conserve the Masoala National Park. Promoting sustainable tourism also brings money to this region and provides the national park with economic benefits. Modest development schemes for neighbouring villages are also an essential part of the project supported by the Wildlife Conservation Society and Madagascar National Park Authority ANGAP. Local villages also accept responsibility and are integrated into the park scheme.
